- Enforcing all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures while maintaining working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Managing the routine record review process, coordinating and communicating product status, and continuous improvement of document flow.
- Assisting in all aspects of deviation holds and final disposition to include releasing or destructing product as required.
- Supporting QA Lab as a back up to other supervisors for the development of daily schedules, allocating labor, and adjusting as needed based on resources.
- Assisting in audits with record presentation and explanation to auditors, including GFSI, Internal, and Customer/3rd party audits
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies or other quality-related certifications such as HACCP, GMPs, SQF, and other relevant audits.
- Strong knowledge of SAP or other inventory/data tracking systems
- Strong knowledge of document control systems and processes and ability to stay organized and on track
- Strong communication skills at all levels of management
- Previous supervisory experience, especially in a manufacturing environment - food manufacturing is a plus including food safety experience with aseptic and thermal processing, seaming, hygienic handling, etc.
