    Porter Position at our Company

    $17 - $19 per hour depending on experience plus $2-3 per hour in Tips

    Are you interested in a 4-day workweek schedule that still offers full-time hours?

    This schedule is provided as an OPTIONAL BENEFIT for those interested & includes four swing shifts starting between 10 am - Noon daily, each lasting for 9 hours and 45 minutes with a lunch break.

    ABOUT THE POSITION: As a crucial member of our restaurant operations, the Porter/Dishwasher ensures dishes are cleaned, the dish area is organized, and sanitation protocols are followed correctly by all team members. This role is vital to the success of the restaurant team and provides opportunities to learn various tasks in our kitchen operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Clean dishes, pots, etc., using dishwashers or by hand
    • Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep kitchen stations
    • Organize cleaning supplies and dishes in appropriate areas
    • Dispose of trash properly in assigned areas
    • Assist team members and managers with daily cleaning and food prep duties
    • Ensure compliance with Department of Health and DIG food safety standards to maintain the 'A' letter grade

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Keenness to learn culinary practices and skills
    • Demonstrated strong work ethic
    • Focus on teamwork
    • Excellent communication abilities
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Capability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
