Key Responsibilities

1. Handle equity and fixed income settlements in HK equity, China A stock Connect, CMU and Bond Connect market
2. Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions
3. Perform reconciliation to ensure firm books and records match with external banks and central depository's record
4. Communicate with counterparty (broker and custodian) to resolve settlement issue
5. Handle physical certificate deposit or withdrawal request
6. Process ADR conversion, cross board conversions, etc
7. Follow up on IPO syndicate deals, EIPO subscription and corresponding settlement
8. Work on Process Improvement

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

1. Bachelors degree
2. Self-motivated, lead by example, work with drive and determination
3. Product and operational knowledge / experience in Hong Kong cash equities is preferred
4. Strong risk awareness, ability to identify the issue, question the process and escalate properly
5. Strong communication skills, be able to interact and communicate effectively both internally and externally, including business unit, Exchange and senior management teams
6. Be able to handle multi-tasks under pressure
