Sr Quality Assurance Specialist

This role works with all departments to ensure quality, food safety, environmental and safety programs and systems are in place to ensure customer satisfaction by meeting and/or exceeding all customer requirements.

They will develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including:
TS16949, ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHSA 18001), accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures.

This individual will regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product, as well as manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.

The MSF will embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company and lead the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals.

Site champion for document control, utilizing systems ie ETQ
Establish timelines for implementation through steering committee and program owners
Audit for compliance and adherence to written procedures and requirements
Manager compliance audits and inspections-internal and 3 rd party (external)
Provide technical services and regulatory compliance support
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
Experience in project management
Must have experience in using a Quality or Continuous Improvement system
Outstanding communication and training skills
Computer literature
Previous experience in ISO strategy development, implementation and maintenance
