    Description
    About this opportunity: The Ink Technician (2nd Shift) is responsible for verifying conformance of all inks and specifications by blending, producing, and quality controlling solvent packaging inks according to each job's requisition.

    What you will do:
    • Champion and foster a safe work environment by following safety and regulatory procedures, including LOTO, working at heights, confined space protocols, and more.
    • Ensure food safety compliance by enforcing SQF and good housekeeping guidelines.
    • Manage day-to-day operations to support a healthy work environment, comply with workplace regulations, and report any incidents.
    • Wear necessary PPE and follow all SOPs and procedures.
    • Maintain an organized work area and operate equipment efficiently.
    • Monitor ink requirements, X-rite, and L*a*b* readings.
    • Support equipment maintenance and record technical information accurately.
    • Troubleshoot press side issues and communicate effectively with other shifts.
    • Follow staging procedures for ink storage and participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
    • Complete assigned duties as directed by managers or supervisors.

    What you have to offer:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant reading and writing skills.
    • Experience operating printing presses and various ink equipment.
    • Knowledge of different ink types and color matching.
    • Mathematical and measurement skills, as well as the ability to follow instructions.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and familiarity with Flexographic printing processes.
    • Computer literacy with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to interpret work orders accurately and identify product issues.

    Compensation:

    The salary and benefits package will be based on experience and qualifications. Details are provided in compliance with applicable law.
    The anticipated salary range for this position is $19.50 per hour.
