    Are you an IT Project Manager looking for a federal opportunity to increase your skillset and growth potential while creating a platform of equality for contract bidders?


    JLAN Solutions has a full-time opportunity for a Senior Project Manager supporting the Department of Transportation (DOT)'s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program.

    This position is located in Washington, DC.

    This employee's role requires them to work on-site on a full-time basis.


    The successful candidate will come from an IT background and have demonstrated success in applying laws, rules, and regulations in the IT and PM processes, as well as writing technical requirements such as SOW, PWS, etc.

    You'll have an understanding of politics and how they're used to succeed in a federal environment.

    Your ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels in DOT, OST and DOCR offices will ensure success of project goals.


    What you'll do:
    Analyze statistical data utilized in the development and implementation of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Bidder's List technical requirements
    Successfully apply recent Federal standards, laws, rules and regulations as it relates to Information Technology, data and security principals
    Coordinate several integrated business processes to ensure timely process of all requests
    Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, etc. to all levels of management
    Gather and analyze stakeholder feedback and to identify strategic engagement opportunities
    Present, select, and manage competing demands and uncertainties within projects
    Track data, metrics, and status of IT activities to monitor efforts
    Utilize knowledge of the appropriate safeguards to protect documents against loss or unauthorized dissemination
    What you'll bring to the table:

    Minimum of ten (10) years of experience OR Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, Contracts, Purchasing, Economics, or Industrial-related + 8 relevant years of working experience
    Proficiency in Adobe and the use of Microsoft Office Suite products (TEAMS, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Word and Outlook)
    Ability to work independently, to ask questions, and be proactive to research an issue and problem-solve
    Experience in performing routine tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy of data
