Job Title: Associate Director, Head of Production Engineering at Takeda

About the role:
You will oversee a technical team to ensure alignment with company, site, and departmental objectives while adhering to budget and schedules. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing and endorsing intricate design concepts, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
You will lead the development and implementation of project strategies across various disciplines, evaluate alternatives, and manage risk levels effectively. Additionally, you will be tasked with defining project scopes, managing project costs, forecasting expenditures, and setting policies to drive project execution.
Your role will involve coordinating, planning, and scheduling tasks to support site production activities, as well as hiring, developing, and recognizing technical staff to meet organizational needs.

What You Bring to Takeda:
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related technical field, along with at least 8 years of relevant experience, with 3 years in a management role. You should possess a strong background in engineering disciplines, knowledge of GMPs, FDA guidelines, and purchasing practices.
Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments, project leadership, and technical team management is essential. Proficiency in automation, IT, and system administration best practices is required.
