    Staff Nurse at UHS Binghamton General Hospital


    United Health Services is looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team focused on providing quality healthcare.

    Shift:

    • Night shift

    Hours per week:

    • 32 hours

    Salary range:

    • $59.38 per hour (depending on experience)


    Overview:

    The Staff Nurse, also known as Registered Nurse (RN), plays a crucial role in protecting and promoting health, preventing illness and injury, and providing compassionate care to individuals and families.     Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

    • Experienced candidates may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
    • Education/Experience:
    • Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing school
    • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, previous clinical experience
    • License/Certification:
    • Minimum Required: Current NYS RN License
    • Preferred: Certification in a related nursing specialty, relevant skills certification

    Work Environment:

    • Office and patient care areas
    • Air-conditioned and heated rooms
    • Fast-paced with frequent interactions
    • Exposure to cleaning solutions and PPE

    Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups

    HIPAA Roles-Based Access to Patient Information:

    • Level 3: Clinical - Access to non-restricted patient information
