    Dispatcher

    Join our team as a Dispatcher to ensure transport requests are met promptly while handling communication with efficiency.

    Qualification Requirements:

    To succeed in this role, you should fulfill these criteria:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
    • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
    • Excellent communication skills via phone and email are essential
    • Customer service experience in an office setting is a bonus
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Detail-oriented, punctual, capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced setting
    • Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office, and Windows 7 is advantageous

    Language Skills:

    Proficient in reading, interpreting documents, and effectively communicating with customers and colleagues.

    Mathematical Skills:

    Capable of basic arithmetic operations.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Adept at problem-solving and handling various situations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Ensure timely pick-up of transport requests
    - Account for all crews consistently
    - Notify callers promptly of any transport delays
    - Update schedule throughout the shift
    - Dispatch transport requests and communicate information clearly
    - Perform duties of a customer service representative
    - Solve problems efficiently

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    None

    Hours:

    Flexibility in hours, including weekends, evenings, and weekdays, is crucial as schedules vary.

    Physical Demands:

    Ability to handle objects, reach, talk, lift up to 20 pounds, and adjust focus.

    Work Environment:

    While working, you may encounter moderate noise levels and moving mechanical parts.
