- Actively engage in the health care team, offering direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
- Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions continuously throughout their care journey.
- Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of CBH.

- Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.
- Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred. Currently licensed to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric facility preferred
- Additional Skill Requirements: CPR certification and management of aggressive behavior training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
