    Overview:

    Were looking for amazing people Come join Virginia Housing as a Loan Disbursement Specialist.

    This important role will process and verify accuracy of funding of lender purchase remittances, respond promptly to lender inquiries regarding purchasing status, and serve as primary backup to Lock Desk Coordinator.

    To be successful in this role you must possess:

    • Verifies and enters data and then performs disbursement of loans within SF Origination System
    • Audit loan and documentation to ensure accuracy in pricing and adjustments prior to funding.
    • Enter required account and banking information into the wiring system to perform funding functions.
    • Ensure funding advice is delivered to the lender promptly.
    • Partner with Capital Markets to format and send out daily rate sheets to Lending Partners

    The ideal candidate would also have experience in:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
    • A few years in mortgage banking.
    • Strong banking procedures and handling sensitive financial transactions preferred.
