    FTS, Inc. has partnered with a local non profit, looking to hire a staff accountant

    Responsibilities:

    • Fulfill and adhere to accounting and reporting policies
    • Reviewing and analyzing finances
    • Ensuring compliance with non-profit regulations, and refining reporting documentation.
    • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Purchasing
    • Overseeing certain contracts as it relates to financial reporting, accounting policies and maintaining internal controls over financial transactions.
    • Oversees the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements.
    • Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes
    • Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation
    • Maintains sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel.
    • Working knowledge of Accounting and Payroll software and systems such as Financial Edge and ADP
