    Description

    Job Overview

    The role involves being a key player in ultrasonic inspection, from setup to operation. The operator must reach at least Level II certification in Immersion Ultrasonic Inspection under customer and Pursuit Aerospace standards. They will handle part inspection, analyze scan data, and pack products. It's important to adhere to all requirements and maintain proper documentation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform ultrasonic inspection using immersion straight beam technique.
    • Conduct calibrations of ultrasonic test equipment.
    • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and safety information.
    • Use tools and equipment as needed.
    • Maintain inspection records and related paperwork.
    • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of work area.
    • Follow supervisor's directives.

    Education & Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous certification as UT Level 2 with immersion experience.

    Required Skills & Abilities:

    • Meet vision requirements.
    • Willingness to undergo necessary training and certifications.
    • Detail-oriented with good mechanical skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Follow procedures accurately.
    • Basic knowledge of algebra and trigonometry.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
    • Adaptability to work in various inspection areas as required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Work involves standing, sitting, and walking.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Manual dexterity for grasping and inspection.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Exposure to different environmental conditions.
