Overview:
Counselor Full Time
Castle Partial Program Inspira Berlin
Monday through Friday/Day time
Population:
Childred ages 4-17 in behavioral health
$20-$22 per hour with full benefits
MUST have a bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
Experience with children in behavioral and mental health.
Provides for the direct care and management of patient population of a partial care treatment center.
Responsibilities:
Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients
Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient's treatment plan.
Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BA in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
