    What You'll Do
    Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. is searching for a Software Engineer to join our application engineering (AE) team in San Jose, CA. The Software Engineer will be responsible for test and implementation of internal tools.

    The candidate will be mainly focusing on helping key customers implement, test and debug new features on their platforms as well as supporting application engineers with debugging and self-qualification efforts.

    In addition, the SW engineer will also perform new product benchmarks and collaborate with internal R&D teams.

    Explore and validate new server Memory RAS features for multiple server architectures.
    Implement and validate new software features.
    Support application engineers with validation efforts and automation tools.
    Maintain and enhance existing tools.
    Collaborate with key customers on validation efforts including development and maintenance of self-qualification software.
    Maintain good technical documentation.
    What You Bring
    Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 3+ years or PhD in data science engineering or related technical field preferred
    3+ years of experience in software development.
    Experience with software development in C, Python, or with similar programming language.
    Experience in software development lifecycle.
    Good understanding of Linux.
    Experience with modern server architectures and its components.
    Experience with software development for server platforms.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate.
    Strong debug and analysis skills
    Experience in UEFI development is a plus
