    Job Title: Certified Backflow Testing Technician

    Job Overview:

    As a Certified Backflow Testing Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining backflow prevention devices in plumbing systems to uphold local standards and regulations, ensuring the safety of water supplies and public health.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Device Inspection - Conduct visual assessments and verify installations for proper functioning.
    • Testing - Utilize specialized equipment for testing and record results accurately.
    • Maintenance - Perform repairs and maintenance to ensure devices function effectively.
    • Documentation - Maintain detailed records for compliance and reporting.
    • Compliance - Stay updated on regulations and industry standards.
    • Communication - Coordinate with stakeholders and provide recommendations.
    • Customer Service - Address inquiries and guide clients on compliance.

    Qualifications:

    • Certification: Valid certification as a Backflow Prevention Device Tester.
    • Knowledge: Strong understanding of plumbing systems and backflow prevention.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using testing equipment.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for client interactions.
    • Attention to Detail: Precision in inspections and tests.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues effectively.
    • Physical Fitness: Some strength required for handling equipment.

    Certified Backflow Testing Technicians play a vital role in ensuring water safety and regulatory compliance, safeguarding public health.
