    Summary of Essential Functions for the Position:

    The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the overall scheduling of all clinical staff for the agency. This position is working with schedules within the electronic medical records system, maintaining work schedules and complying with agency guidelines. This person ensures proper and accurate documentation is entered in computer software program within the established timeframes 100% of the time. Must be personable, persuasive, and detail-oriented and have demonstrated success at working in a fast paced and sometime stressful environment.

    Qualifications:

    Qualifications / Licensure / Certification / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

    • Two (2) to three (3) years of previous related experience, Home Care or Home Health preferred.
    • Previous Wellsky experience preferred.
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to demonstrate good organizational skills, time management
    • Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software. Working knowledge of EMR database preferred
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing, with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Current drivers license, automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation required
    • Acceptance and ability to demonstrate and support the core values and goals of Agency
    • Must demonstrate good customer relations skills and a commitment to providing quality service
    • Must have a current valid drivers license, auto liability insurance and reliable transportation
    • Travel may be required

    Educational Requirements:

    High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required; 2 year Associate Degree preferred.

    Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

    Working environment is relatively quiet and can be stressful due to deadlines, multiple tasks and general compliance of law, rules and regulations. The position requires visual acuity and dexterity, sitting, standing, some pushing, pulling and lifting up to 25 pounds.
