    The Community Engagement and Events Specialist is responsible for crafting and implementing innovative event marketing and community engagement strategies to drive regional market growth and support Commercial sales objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, ideal for a results-driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make an impact.



    Responsibilities
    • Event Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies for industry conferences, tradeshows and regional events. Maintain an event calendar to track and ensure alignment of all teams and necessary resources. Oversee all logistical aspects, from budget management and vendor relations to on-site coordination. Travel to events as required.
    • Brand Representation & Promotion: Enhance brand visibility and engagement through targeted promotional activities across various channels, including social media, email marketing and direct outreach, before, during and after events. Coordinate the production, design and delivery of brand-consistent materials for events, including promotional giveaways, event kits, attire and collateral.
    • Community Engagement: Lead outreach initiatives that engage and build relationships with local communities, chambers of commerce and economic development organizations. Identify and leverage opportunities for speaking engagements, awards and strategic partnerships.
    • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate event success and inform future strategies. Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to make informed marketing decisions.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and other departments to align marketing materials and promotional strategies with broader business objectives.

    • Successfully plan and execute events within budget
    • Event communications and promotional materials
    • Event program impact and performance reports


    Qualifications
    • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in telecommunications or business IT
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, sales or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Salesforce, Highspot, Pardot, Microsoft Office, or similar applications Knowledge of telecommunications or technology industry a plus.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
    • Comfort with public speaking and interfacing with customers, vendors, agent partners and company executives
    • Proactive, energetic and solution-oriented with a strong focus on execution
    • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time

    Salary

    Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $61,486 - $93,189
