    Job DescriptionDescription:

    DermSurgery Associates in Brenham is interviewing for Medical Assistants/DermTechs in our growing and busy Dermatology group We are adding talented team members to our team. The ideal candidate will have some dermatology experience, but it is not required, as we will train the right candidate if they have experience in medical assisting, an exceptional attitude and committed work ethic. We are building the team and will be hiring someone to grow with us.

    Preferably CCMA or DTECH certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

    Duties include, but are not limited to: Rooming patients, assisting during surgery, educating patients & obtaining procedure consents, assisting with procedures, documenting in the EMR, scribing for physician, completing patient call backs, scheduling surgeries, logging & tracking pathology, completing PAs, removing sutures and other duties as assigned. Successful applicants will possess the ability to document accurately and quickly, have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical and medication abbreviations and have the ability to work productively as part of the team.

    Requirements:

    Reliable transportation
