- All current laboratory duties
- Communicate regularly with the team through one-on-one meetings, workload huddles and group meetings
- Provide continuous feedback and guidance to employees by collaborating with customers and the employees to identify growth areas through annual performance evaluations and other tools
- Review resumes, select candidates, schedule and conduct interviews for open positions in collaboration with the manager
- Onboard new employees by assisting with pre-employment activities, arranging training plans, evaluating initial new employee performance and providing continuous feedback
- Guide employees in adhering to industry, client and Pace policies
- Serve as the key contact for employee vacation requests, training, and policy questions
- Maintain contact with clients to solicit performance feedback, workload updates and other program needs
- Build strong team cohesion through group meetings, activities, 1 on 1s, updates, etc.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in groups, 1 on 1, in person and in writing on a wide variety of topics.
- Effectively plan and run meetings to accomplish team goals, build a stronger team and provide effective updates
- Assist with program administration as needed, including assigning work and collecting metrics
- Work with Pace management and HR to identify and address employee performance and client relation issues
- Identify and reward team successes
- Current Pace employee working in CRML/CRPL - Scientific Insourcing Services team

Join us as a Group Leader, where you'll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Services department. You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.
Candidate will supervise 7 employees as well as perform their current laboratory responsibilities. The candidate will be focused on leading individuals, their professional development and recruiting new team members. This position will work closely with the Pace Management team to maintain and develop strategies to ensure that Pace continues to provide our customers with a high level of service through effectively managed programs.
