    Position Overview and Requirements

    We are in search of a skilled Healthcare Quality Specialist to join our quality management team. In this position, you will play a vital role in analyzing clinical data, correlating with performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement in quality care.     Responsibilities:

    • Engage in clinical rounding using evidence-based practice protocols.
    • Advocate for healthcare outcomes at various facility events and rounds.
    • Prepare and conduct educational sessions for staff based on identified needs.
    • Collect data, observe clinical processes, and intervene when necessary.
    • Communicate with patients, families, and leadership to address care concerns effectively.
    • Maintain cultural awareness while interacting with diverse stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a preference for a BSN.
    • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Multistate Compact License.
    • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
    • Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within one year of hire.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification within three months of hire.
