Position Overview and Requirements

We are in search of a skilled Healthcare Quality Specialist to join our quality management team. In this position, you will play a vital role in analyzing clinical data, correlating with performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement in quality care. Responsibilities:

Engage in clinical rounding using evidence-based practice protocols.
Advocate for healthcare outcomes at various facility events and rounds.
Prepare and conduct educational sessions for staff based on identified needs.
Collect data, observe clinical processes, and intervene when necessary.
Communicate with patients, families, and leadership to address care concerns effectively.
Maintain cultural awareness while interacting with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a preference for a BSN.
Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Multistate Compact License.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within one year of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification within three months of hire.
