    Job Description

    The employee would be working with all levels of the food production team, the management, employees, vendors and airline customers. Quality clerks are charged to oversee daily compliance of food safety, hygiene and handling requirements required by the Food and Drug Administration (US/FDA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), and LSG Sky Chef's Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program. They provide excellent customer service to our airline customers and promote employee safety within the CSC's (Customer Service Centers. Task include, finalizing quality and counts to ensure to customer order specifications, performing internal and external audits with CSC leadership to ensure audit readiness. Clerks assist with menu presentations as well as motivate, guide and develop food safety & hygiene activities to enhance internal employees' knowledge. Must be able to follow instruction, meet tight deadlines and interact / communicate with all levels of Business.

    Qualifications
    • Ability to speak, read and understand English
    • Food safety related degree, certification or knowledge strongly recommended
    • Operational background from food manufacturing, food handling or warehousing strongly recommended
    • Commitment to food safety and quality assurance
    • Strong sense of urgency & problem solving skills
    • Comply with all work rules and regulations
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure required
    • Ability to interface and communicate with all levels of management and employees
    • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Ability to work in a 24 hour environment with occasional changes in schedule
    Our Employees Must Be Able to:
    • Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays
    • Work overtime when required
    • Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
    Environmental Requirements:
    • Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise
    • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
