    Senior Accountant


    JOB LOCATION:

    Anaheim, CA ( on-site )


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Senior Accountant provides support to the Project in all areas of Finance & Accounting.

    The senior accountant is responsible for the maintenance of the General Ledger and its Sub-ledgers, manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, client invoicing, and intercompany accounts, and ensures accuracy and timeliness.

    Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The order of the duties listed does not represent the importance and/or percentage of time dedicated to each duty.


    Manage all aspects of the accounts payable, review and reconcile vendors' invoices, process the accounting entries in the ERP system, research, and correct any discrepancies


    Reconcile financial operational data and calculate the key financial indicators


    Review and reconcile client invoices including but not limited to Collection agencies, Interoperable Agencies


    Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures


    Perform monthly reconciliation of project financial reports and project bank accounts


    Assist in the monthly and yearly closing, and record necessary monthly accruals while maintaining accrual roll forward


    Assist in preparing the monthly financial reports (clients and corporate)


    Assist the Accounting Manager and Project Manager during the quarterly budget revision


    Assist with annual SOC Audit


    Assist with internal and external financial audit reviews


    Follow and ensure company finance and accounting processes


    Point of contact between the operations and accounting team


    Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with Company policy and accepted accounting principles


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Strong technical research skills

    ERP knowledge and experience


    Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as PC-based programs


    Superior quantitative skills


    Strong interpersonal communication


    Must be able to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize within a fast-paced environment


    Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


    B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance.


    Four (4) to seven (7) plus years of applicable prior experience
