Responsibilities
- Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in one or more sections of the laboratory.
- Lead shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and associates.
- Serve as a functional/processing resource and performs similar duties with staff as allowed by the state.
- Assign, monitor, and review progress of work.
- Monitor and report compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provides input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Certification specializing in Phlebotomy preferred.
Education:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Work Experience:
2 years of experience required.
