**Merchandise Planner, Apparel and Accessories**

at Tecovas Austin, TX **Tecovas** is looking for a Merchandise Planner of Apparel and Accessories. Reporting directly into the Planning team, you will primarily be responsible for product level forecasting and buying for Apparel and Accessories across channels, partner cross-functionally and work closely with Merchandising to gain alignment, and ensure financial goals are achieved while supporting overall company initiatives Tecovas is the first direct-to-consumer western brand, founded with the simple goal of making the worlds best western boots, apparel and leather goods - and selling them at a fair price. We are a brand revolutionizing a category and welcoming first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike.

This position is based out of Austin, TX but will have the ability to work from home and in-office.

**What youll do:**

Manage inventory for the Apparel & Accessories categories, including forecasting and buying responsibilities, ensuring in stock rates to maximize revenue while hitting turn targets set by Finance

Proactively achieve investment alignment from all cross-functional partners to ensure investments are supporting overall initiatives and key feature items

Responsible for out-of-stock reporting, ensuring products in-season are stocked at the warehouse

Facilitate and manage bottoms up forecasting exercise for category, communicating any risks to Merchandising and Finance

Oversee SKU level markdown strategies as well as identify items to maximize promotional and marketing strategies, based on partnership with category merchant

Partner closely with Merchandising on assortment and pricing for new product launches, communicating any risks and ensuring IMU and financial targets are achieved

Share product performance, trends, and key insights with Design and Merchandising to help support line plan development for future assortments (as part of Lookback process)

Strategize and collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising on future promotional plans, ensuring

financial targets are achieved and teams are aligned on execution

**Experience were looking for:**

3-5 years of experience in Planning and Allocation/Replenishment experience

Bachelors Degree

Strong analytical and modeling skills, including using Excel

Strong project management and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including prioritization, planning, and communication of big picture
