    Job DescriptionDescription:

    The Accounts Receivable Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, credit exposure, and reconciliation of accounts receivable transactions. This role requires a proactive individual who can develop and implement strategies to optimize the accounts receivable process and minimize bad debt risk.

    Essential Job Functions:

    · Manage the accounts receivable process including invoicing, collections, and cash application for both D2C and B2B customers

    · Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective accounts receivable management

    · Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection

    · Review and approve credit applications and establish credit limits for customers

    · Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer inquiries and disputes

    · Analyze accounts receivable data and prepare regular reports for management review

    · Lead, mentor, and develop accounts receivable staff to ensure high performance and productivity

    · Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts

    · Implement controls to mitigate risks associated with accounts receivable processes

    · Continuously evaluate and improve accounts receivable processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

    · Assist with entity management, including state and local tax filings and compliance

    Requirements:

    · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant professional certification is preferred

    · Proven experience (3-5 years) in an accounting/finance role, preferably in a managerial role

    · Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to accounts receivable

    · Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel is preferred

    · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    · Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders

    · Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of leading and developing teams

    · Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

    · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
