Description

This position is designed to give the NSF-Noyce Gant recipients experiential learning activities in the Math Education field while here at HCC.

Thus, grant recipients will be expected to spend up to 15 hours per semester observing math classes from a variety of instructors, assisting with class work activities for an assigned class, or running test preparation sessions for students in lower-level math classes.

Additional hours may be available if fewer grant recipients are selected.


Requirements

MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE SPRING 2024 SEMESTER.

MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS.

UNLESS FIRST-SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED.
