    Clinic Manager

    South Chicago Clinic


    Schedule:
    Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

    We are seeking a Clinic Manager, under the general supervision of the Director of Operations. The Clinic Manager provides leadership in planning, guiding, and coordinating clinical operations for Chicago Family Health Center (CFHC). Maintain focus on service and operational excellence.

    The primary responsibilities of this position are supervision of all clinical staff (excluding providers), fostering cohesion among the organization, managing and coordinating the development and implementation of policies and procedures as they relate to customer service and patient services.


    Responsibilities:
    Continually reinforces the organization's overall mission to the health center staff, in written and oral communications, and in actions.

    Works with leadership to identify opportunities and problems and initiates plans for decision-making and problem solving in the organization, and specifically with regards to the practices in a positive manner.

    Recruits, trains, and assists employees to achieve customer service and performance goals.
    Supervises Patient Service Representatives (PSR), Customer Service Aides (CSA). Medical Assistants, Referral Coordinators, and other ancillary staff. Arranges schedules for complete coverage.
    Ensures the health center's day-to-day operations are carried out.
    Assists in the development, implementation and oversight of CFHC policies and procedures with the Clinical Lead Provider.
    Assures adherence to budgetary and productivity expectations for the assigned office (s).
    Participates in community educational or awareness programs.


    Qualifications:
    A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
    Minimum of demonstrated three (3) years of experience in supervision and clinical experience
    Proven experience in a healthcare management role.
    Exceptional overall writing skills; excellent organization skills.
    Ability to gather and analyze data, working independently and in collaboration to support quality written materials.
    Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while handling sensitive and confidential materials.

    Work Arrangement:
    This role is eligible for a "hybrid remote" work arrangement.

    If hybrid, it is expected this person would be able to meet for "in person" meetings when needed or at the request of others.

    In-person meetings may be required on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, etc.).
