- Execute design tasks, layouts, and schematic drawings as assigned by the department manager.
- Generate detailed drawings with bill of materials for shop production.
- Compile material lists for the Purchasing Department.
- Create material takeoffs for bidding purposes.
- Develop shipping lists for yard personnel on extensive projects.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Solid engineering and mechanical skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is ESSENTIAL - testing may be necessary.
- Experience with SolidWorks Electrical is advantageous.
- Basic proficiency in Word processor and Excel applications.
- Tasks include sitting, walking, talking, hearing, using hands for various activities, and bending, among others.
- Occasional movement within the office premises.
- Visual abilities such as close vision, color recognition, peripheral vision, and depth perception are required.
- Travel may be needed based on company requirements.
- Occasional lifting and moving of items up to 30 lbs may be required.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Entry Level 1/Level 2 Engineer role involves creating and updating detailed drawings for new and existing heavy equipment used in the mining and aggregate field. This position also includes entering electrical and hydraulic schematics into AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks format. Occasional travel may be necessary.
