    Brown & Brown is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst within our FP&A Corporate Finance Department with a focus on Technology spending.

    This individual will be a critical member of the Technology Finance team, collaborating closely with our Technology leaders to provide critical analysis and insight that helps drive business decisions.

    The individual in this role is expected to have a high level of Workday financial reporting experience, strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes, reviewing monthly actual spending, developing planning, and reporting models and performing research and analysis.

    He/she should be inquisitive, driving for a deep understanding of expense drivers, willing to challenge the status quo while providing guidance as a resource for FP&A and Technology leadership.

    What You'll Do

    Proactively review Workday Financial reports, analysis detailed spend, research paid invoices for accuracy and JE's that drive financial results within Technology
    Calculation, tracking and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual spend growth and projections by vendor and spend type
    Maintain and enhance cost center tracking framework
    Completion and maintenance of financial presentations to Technology Leadership
    Collaborate with divisional finance analysts regarding Technology actuals and plans
    Drive and expand Enterprise Technology Solutions reporting and budgeting
    Consolidate, analyze, report on, and review monthly financial results, including attaining an understanding of the drivers of financial performance.
    Improve financial results by new analysis; monitoring variances; identifying trends and recommending actions to leadership.
    Prepare financial reports, charts, tables, trend analysis and other exhibits as requested.
    Responsible for special projects to improve process efficiency and financial performance as assigned by leadership.

    Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of Finance during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and focused analytic review.

    WHAT YOU'


    LL NEED:
    Advanced experience with Workday, Excel, Power BI, and MS Office Suite
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business discipline
    3-5+ years of experience in FP&A, ability to work independently
    Ability to cleanse, organize and analyze large datasets to find trends or issues
    Organized with strong critical thinking skills
    Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

    Preferred

    Experience with Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, Apptio, and Power BI
    Masters' degree in a business or finance related discipline (not required)
