Description
The Sales Analytics Lead serves as a subject-matter expert on sales data, including the housing of the data in the Cloud Data Warehouse.
In addition, the Sales Analytics Lead provides advanced, high stakes, analytics and business intelligence.
They develop, document, train and maintain best practices to ensure the integrity, consistency, and scalability of CDW's sales reporting.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Identify key ideas and business needs from C-level Executives, independently perform the analysis to generate actionable business insights, and present to the Executive Teams.
Produce thorough analysis from large raw data sets to support sales leadership to drive tactical and strategic departmental objectives and partnership decisions.
Analyze data using SQL and Power BI in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
Evaluate current reporting and processes and proactively implement improved methods and tools to reduce friction in data-heavy processes through automation.
Lead high visibility strategic analytics projects; determine purpose/outcome and scope, define tasks and timeline, document progress, report out on results and ensure timely completion.
Innovate new self-serve reporting capabilities on key metrics by leading proof of concept projects leveraging world-class business intelligence tools.
Provide thought leadership and actively participate in the creation/maintenance of CDW's data strategy, data governance processes to maximize data integrity and minimize business risk.
Perform regular usage analysis of our reporting solutions, recommend and implement methods to increase utilization and report results to leadership.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years analyst experience with sales analysis, business intelligence, financial analysis, econometrics, or statistics
Expert-level Excel skills (will be tested)
Excellent analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with independent judgment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to Executive Leaders.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong cross functional relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work and make key decisions independently
Power BI or business intelligence tool experience
SQL development, optimization, and data extraction to Microsoft Best Practices with relational and multidimensional database queries
Data warehouse experience
Project management experience
Strong process improvement skills
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of Power BI and data warehouse experience
3+ years of SQL Server Management experience
Six Sigma Certification
Advanced Statistics knowledge
