    Summary of Essential Functions for the Position:

    A Registered Nurse who effectively leads the clinical team (nursing and therapy) and is responsible for the overall provider/branch growth and ensures that clinical metrics, benchmark indicators and financials are successfully met.

    Assures quality of both care and documentation by leading, assessing, analyzing, and communicating with the clinical team.

    Assure that the most efficient use of manpower and resources are utilized to achieve the best outcomes and goals for the patient, compliance, and finance on a day-to-day basis.

    The Skilled Professional team, whether direct employees of the agency or under arrangement, are expected to contribute to all phases of the QAPI program and participate in ongoing interdisciplinary assessments of patients.

    Periodically administers skilled care to patients, performing field visits and on-call when required.

    Qualifications:

    Qualifications / Licensure / Certification / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:


    Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of clinical supervisory experience with a concentration in the home health arena preferred.

    Should have experience and success in home health, hospice or related health care fields.
    Proficient in directing staff both clinical and clerical to achieve patient and agency outcomes. Demonstrates leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience and possesses superior analyzation and issue resolution skills.

    Exhibits the ability to supervise others through effective leadership, team building and collegial cooperation for the achievement of company goals.

    Exemplifies excellence in both verbal and written communication skills.

    Sets the standard for the branch by assuring that patients are seen even if it means going into the field to perform visits.

    Must have access to a reliable automobile for transportation that meets state and company regulations regarding liability insurance coverage and possesses a valid driver's license.

    Relates professionally and positively to all staff including those at the corporate level. Able to model and embody the company philosophy, mission and core values through actions, deeds and communication.

    Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Excel and PowerPoint to be able to produce, instruct and interpret information and data.

    Available for overnight travel when necessary to administrate and service agency branches or corporate needs.


    Educational Requirements:
    High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an approved college or university with a Bachelors degree preferred.


    Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:


    Work environment is relatively quiet and can be stressful due to deadlines, multiple tasks and general compliance of law, rules and regulations.

    The position requires visual acuity and dexterity, sitting, standing, some pushing, pulling and lifting up to 25 pounds. Auto related accidents possible.
