    Job Description
    PURPOSE OF POSITION:
    • Collaborate with Gotham Health leadership to drive the strategic plan for regional community health sites, acting as a change agent to empower nurses to work at their full potential and enhance patient care.
    • Ensure successful execution of Gotham Health's strategic initiatives.

    AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Finance and Budget: Assist in developing and monitoring operating budgets, implementing cost-saving strategies, and optimizing provider scheduling to enhance productivity.
    Patient Relations: Develop strategies with leadership to improve patient experience, identify trends in patient feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    Leadership: Foster strong relationships with Gotham Health Leadership, support strategic plan implementation across all community health sites.
    Strategic Planning: Drive innovation in care delivery, develop program strategies to enhance patient-centered experiences, and improve care quality and coordination.
    SUMMARY:
    • Provide leadership and coordination to advance Gotham and NYCHHC goals.
    • Lead innovative approaches in nursing and patient care.
    • Take full responsibility for actions and maintain professionalism.
    • Participate in quality improvement processes and compliance activities.
    • Ensure excellence in care delivery and safety across all Gotham settings.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Travel to various sites as needed.
    • Architect cultural transformation to support Nursing evolution at Gotham Health.
    • Implement evidence-based patient safety initiatives.
    • Drive organizational culture in alignment with strategic goals.
    • Lead initiatives to enhance patient care quality and control costs.
    • Track outcomes to measure effectiveness.
    • Provide authoritative leadership to support patient safety goals.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
    • Participate in quality assurance programs and staff training.
    • Maintain infection control standards and safety regulations.
    • Implement solutions to improve teamwork and patient satisfaction.
    • Ensure standardized services and quality care across all facilities.
    • Communicate effectively and promote a collaborative work environment.
    • Participate in regulatory surveys and corrective action planning.

    Minimum Qualifications
    1. Licensed and registered as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
    2. Master's Degree in Nursing Administration or equivalent, plus four years of nursing administration experience.
    3. Department preferences:
    • Licensed Professional Nurse in New York State.
    • Strong communication skills.
    Certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing preferred.
    Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree or related field required.
    Minimum five years of senior management experience.
    Experience in complex Ambulatory care settings.
    Expertise in managing multiple Ambulatory sites.
    Familiarity with union or management environments.
    Knowledgeable in clinical practice, healthcare trends, and complex problem-solving.
