Job Summary Description
The Security Project Manager is a member of Corporate Security and serves a key role supporting security risk mitigation programs through governance, enterprise technological systems, and engagement with company members in its varied functions and business units, as well as stakeholders and partners.
This role will be accountable to the Global Security function, under the Chief Security Officer, with a direct reporting line to the Security Program Manager – Security Technology and will collaborate with Global Security teams, IT teams, corporate teams, Security Managers and other BU security points of contact, and contractors tasked with implementation of security threat and risk mitigation projects.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assist the Security Technology and Enterprise Systems Support teams to evaluate, develop, troubleshoot, deploy and support an array of security systems and tools, including case management, access control, video management, threat detection, visitor management, business integrations, Security Operations Centers capabilities, and the travel security program
Design, construct, implement, maintain, and scale the Access Control System, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Video Surveillance Systems, including system monitoring, programming, configuration changes, reporting and troubleshooting
Provide assistance with maintaining camera firmware and passwords in compliance with company policy
Provide initial diagnostic troubleshooting and determine the root cause of network and/or systems problems
Support maintenance and upgrades of existing systems, installation of new systems, backup, and recovery
Be the subject matter expert on security technologies, document standard operating procedures as they related to physical security and systems integration, and assist trainers
Work with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party vendors to drive security projects from initiation to closing
Assess security risks and vulnerabilities in the physical environment and develop plans to mitigate them
Provide research and development, technology roadmaps
Conduct regular security audits and testing to ensure that security systems are functioning effectively
Participate in Crisis Management & Emergency Response and business continuity programs, executive protection and special event operations when assigned
Collaborate with other security professionals to coordinate physical security efforts
Stay informed of emerging security threats and technologies and recommend appropriate upgrades or changes to security systems
Assist as an organizing representative of Global Security to Legal and Company initiatives and volunteer activities supporting SPIRIT values. Engage with key company stakeholders and external organizations to develop security initiatives and partnerships, garner adoption of changes, and increase knowledge of professional security standards
Basic/Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
5 or more years of technical project management experience with physical security solutions
Intermediate knowledge with two of the following solutions: Genetec, Lenel, Milestone, Avigilon, AMAG, Software House, Hirsch, S2 or other ACS, VMS, IDS and CCTV systems
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, other related field, or foreign equivalent
Certifications with two of the following solutions: Genetec, Lenel, Milestone, Avigilon, AMAG, Software House, Hirsch, S2 or other ACS, VMS, IDS and CCTV systems
Relevant security certifications such as ASIS Certified Physical Security Professional (PSP)
3 or more years of experience in Genetec, SQL, PowerShell, and Power BI applications
1 or more years of experience working and engaging with contractor personnel
1 or more years of experience with security systems implementation projects
1 or more years of experience working in a commercial/industrial environment
1 or more years of experience building positive relationships across organizations to foster a strong collaborative work environment
Intermediate level of proficiency with coding
Intermediate knowledge of Security Operations Center (SOC) development/management
Security Systems project design experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Thorough understanding of security industry standards and regulations
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures related to physical security
Effective communication and presentation skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with quick turnaround, be able to meet short deadlines in a timely and accurate manner
Ability to align security with business objectives
Ability to actively communicate and safely perform work to protect our people and environment
Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results
