    Description

    Overview:

    The application developer interns will work closely with a team for multiple ETC Roadside software products, including machine learning-based applications and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
    • Assist in the implementation of new features and enhancements to existing applications.
    • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
    • Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain the stability and performance of applications.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development.

    This list of responsibilities might not cover everything you'll end up doing.

    Qualifications:

    Required Education and Experience

    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Positive attitude and team player.
    • Have a can-do positive attitude and the willingness to get hands dirty.
    • Have academic knowledge on machine learning / artificial intelligence technologies.
    • Expertise in Java, Python or similar programming language.
    • General knowledge of recent image processing/neural networks research papers is a plus.
    • Strong desire for exploring, evaluating and understanding new technologies.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Students currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines.
