    Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-Site work when not traveling for business)

    Reports to: Director of Sales

    Service Wire is a premier manufacturer of industrial, utility, and commercial wire and cable. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Outside Sales Manager to join our Phoenix team in this full-time, exempt position. As an Outside Sales Manager at Service Wire, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales activities within your assigned market area and maximizing profitability. We are looking for a candidate who can build and maintain strong client relationships through strategic customer focus, identify new target markets, and contribute to the overall growth of our organization.

    Task/Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Actively attend to customer needs and ensure thorough follow through on all requests, both oral and written
    • Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales opportunities and keep representatives abreast of company happenings and relevant industry needs.
    • Assure the maintenance of a comprehensive customer database and contact lists throughout the assigned territory
    • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and technical development
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, strengthening partnerships in a professional and effective manner
    • Participate in sales forecasting and coordinate strategic planning by monitoring, analyzing, and communicating sales data
    • Analyze pricing and market data for informed decision-making
    • Produce regular updates, reports, and proposals for review and approval
    • Drive both short and long-range marketing and sales goals in target markets
    • Follow up on sales leads and develop leads through market and customer research
    • Promote products and services at tradeshows and other industry events
    • Develop and maintain communication in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of sales staff, operations team members, agents and customers
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other relevant fields preferred
    • 3+ years of related sales experience or training, industrial sales preferred
    • Strong verbal/written communication and phone skills
    • Ability to operate Microsoft office products and related computer applications
    • Strong math skills and capability to analyze complex data sets
    • Passion for providing solution-based sales to a variety of customers and representing our company at a variety of events
    • Experience with CRM system and understanding of electrical specifications a plus
    • Effectively demonstrates time management, detail attentiveness, and prioritization of tasks
    • Cooperatively interact with members of the sales department and other company employees
    • Travel up to 50% of time both by vehicle or airplane; in-office while not traveling for business
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
