- Lead project team, including subcontractors, to meet customer needs within allocated cost and schedule in a business area that is expanding.
- Collaborate with Program Manager and Program Finance Administrator to track progress and reduce variances using EVMS metrics.
- Report program variances utilizing proper formats and EVMS techniques.
- Aid in program Integrated Master Schedule development and timely execution.
- Identify and address risks and issues preemptively to prevent schedule delays.
- Remove obstacles for the Program Scheduler role in detailed IMS management.
- Play a vital role in managing the program cost baseline.
- Analyze and resolve engineering challenges to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Manage, mitigate, and deal with program-level risks and opportunities.
- Estimate required resources and materials for projects/products.
- Ensure coordination among resource managers/supervisors and obtain necessary reviews and approvals.
- Foster a collaborative team environment for quick reaction projects and maintain regular customer interactions.
- Utilize Earned Value (EV) for project success guidance.
- Support proposals for new business opportunities in a growing sector.
- Handle staffing procurement and performance management.
- Supervise subcontractors on program control accounts.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Government contracts and organizational contract structure.
- Experience in Project Engineering, EVMS, and program execution, with capability in concept solutions through proposal submittal/evaluation.
- Track record of managing projects with budgets exceeding $10M.
- Demonstrated leadership in overseeing a diverse team of engineers.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action process and methodologies.
- Experience spanning a product engineering lifecycle.
- Ability to drive changes in practices, processes, and approaches for enhanced organizational execution.
- Active Secret security clearance necessary.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Competence in program pursuit and proposal activities.
- Proficiency in ground-based radar space systems operations/engineering.
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) practices.
- Familiarity with Government contract acquisition lifecycle considered a plus.
- Knowledge of design to cost activities management.
- Expertise in working with subcontractors to meet schedule commitments.
