- You will verify that history, physical, and allergy, information are recorded on medical records and communicated to the care team
- You will gather the patient's perception of surgery and understanding of the planned procedure, as well as provide patient teaching and emotional support
- You will assist with care of the patient during anesthesia
- You will perform surgical preps and position the patient properly for surgery
- You will administer medications and IV therapy correctly and safely
- You will ensure availability of safe equipment, participate in process improvement, and prevent and manage accidents in the work area
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
