    Job DescriptionThe position is responsible to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a number of press equipmentPerform all make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated such as hanging plates or installing cylinders, examine plates/cylinders for imperfections and checks for correct positioning of images, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register etc.

    Make necessary color corrections and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the workClean, lubricate, and maintain the press, making minor repairs and replacing worn or broken parts as requiredPerforms periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pmQualificationsRequires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifiactions, equipment, and safety requirements and skills to perform assignmentsSkill to read and understand job specifications and knowledge of press capabilities to determine the most appropriate press usage, press settings and materials needed to run the job successfullySkill to make a variety of difficult precise settings of controls, settings, and adjustments, and to perform routine operational maintenance of equipmentSkill inroutine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipmentKnowledge of the appropriate amount of packing pressure needed to obtain the proper printing pressure for the type of job being runSkill in use of micrometer to mount and align the printing plate correctlyAble to work extended hours and weekendsJob requires the ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly to move objectsStrong mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detailMust be able to operate well in a team environmentMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to perform repetitive hand motionsMust have the ability to achieve standard production and quality goalsMust have experience working in a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven production environmentMust be willing to work mandatory overtime periods as critical work volume dictatesAdditional Information

    Disclosure Statement:
    The pay range for this role at the noted location is $ $30.11 / hour.

    The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to:
    education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.

    In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
