    Position Summary:

    Visual Comfort & Co. is looking for an eager intern to support our growing Digital Imaging team for Summer 2024. Interns typically support their designated department in day-to-day activities, complete assigned projects, and assist in all aspects of the department's needs. Interns will receive mentoring from their assigned supervisor and must contribute to a community engagement project sponsored by the company. At the end of the internship, interns are required to submit a presentation documenting their acquired knowledge and accomplishments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform video editing for concurrent projects.
    • Edit post-production product videos for website and social media content.
    • Prepare projects for hand-off for internal and external use.
    • Capture video content as needed.
    • Occasionally work weekends and overtime.
    • Travel up to 10% for offsite shoots if required.
    • Contribute to assigned company-sponsored community engagement activities.
    • Participate in internship meetings and deliver a comprehensive presentation.
    • Respond to emails promptly.
    • Provide assistance to other departments as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Enrolled in a 4-year bachelor's degree program (junior year or higher) or completing a graduate degree program in motion graphics, video editing, videography, cinema, or similar.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate Excel.
    • Working educational knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, or related field of study.
    • Must have working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Premier Pro and After Effects).
    • Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator is beneficial but not mandatory.
