    $83,418 - $96,737FLSA Status: ExemptSummaryThis position is located within IQuESt, the Center for Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness and Safety. We are the largest center for Health Services Research within the Southwest. We conduct high-quality scientific research that improves the health of patients across the nation, by helping to ensure the patient-centered delivery of scientific discoveries.

    This position is responsible for working with multiple project teams with approach to quantitative methodology, providing strategic consulting and research support from study design to dissemination.

    This individual will be responsible for guiding and executing data analysis plan, data management, and analytics. This is a hybrid position.

    Job DutiesConsults on grant proposal and research study design, guiding project teams on the best approach and techniques to address research objectives and add value.

    Provides strategic consulting on quantitative research and quality improvement projects. Works with the PI to guide study design, including sampling and primary data collection plans.

    Supports design and execution of data analysis plan, including performing any statistical analyses focusing on the use of primary data collected directly from research subjects and the electronic health record.

    Supports interpretation and presentation of research results to investigators in both written and visual forms (e.g., graphs, charts).Develops statistical programs for data manipulation and implementation of advanced statistical methodology such as longitudinal designs, observational study designs, structural equation modeling.

    Handles database management and data mining skills Intermediate or higher skill in SAS, R, STATA, SQL or similarIntermediate or higher skill in Microsoft AccessAssists with survey design and psychometric evaluation.

    Performs other tasks as assigned by faculty including protocol reviews, statistical report generation, manuscript preparation, review of statistical literature.
    Assists and train users on computer programs.
    Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Quantitative Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
    Two years of relevant experience.
    Preferred Qualifications Ph.
    D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Quantitative Psychology, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, or a health related field.
