    About this position:

    Do you fancy lending your legal expertise to Wells Fargo's Employment Counseling & Litigation Section based in the Wells Fargo Legal Department? If so, keep on reading! They are looking to add a Counsel to their team of legal professionals handling a variety of employment-related legal matters. This includes dealing with administrative claims, potential litigations, external legal relationships, and providing valuable advice and training to business line management and HR. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process enhancements and represent the company in complex legal scenarios. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing challenges, managing claims and litigations, guiding internal clients, and participating in initiatives to support the company's legal needs.     Responsibilities include:

    • Engaging in various initiatives and spotting opportunities for process improvements
    • Handling complex litigations, negotiations, and claims-related legal issues
    • Providing legal guidance to internal stakeholders
    • Analyzing assignments that require thorough research and independent judgment
    • Managing complex claims, litigations, and other legal matters
    • Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders on legal initiatives
    • Developing strategies and offering guidance on complex employment law issues
    • Providing leadership and direction on critical functions and risk management programs


    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of legal experience
    • Active membership in a State Bar or equivalent legal qualification outside the US


    Preferred qualifications:

    • Extensive knowledge of state and federal employment laws
    • Experience in litigation and administrative processes related to employment law
    • Strong ability to provide effective counsel on employment legal matters
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Previous in-house legal experience
    • Familiarity with labor law and arbitration processes

    Job Expectations:

    • Onsite presence required at specified locations
    • Position not eligible for Visa sponsorship
    • No relocation assistance available

    Salary Range:

    $96,600.00 - $188,900.00
