Summary

All Aboard Preschool Child Care Center is a natured based childcare center who is looking for a couple substitute teachers to cover classrooms when staff are unwell or have requested vacation time, for our nature-based classrooms that would be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Canidates must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.

Duties

Canidate must be willing to work a 8-9 hour day when called in if available.
Be ready to take over the classroom they are subbing in for the day based on the notes left by the classrooms teacher
Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching. Typically, you would be working with another teacher but not always.
Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children

Requirements

Childcare experience is preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
A strong understanding of child development.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.(we will train)
Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to have an ongoing professional development plan on Nh connections and ProSolutions (18hr per calendar year)
Pay is based on experience and education.
No college credits are required for this position.

All our programs are staffed to meet the needs of each classroom with staff that are dedicated to young children and have a love of learning.
