    The Associate Director, AI for Medical Engagement will lead our AI driven transformation journey and the end-to-end execution of AI driven solutions across multiple dimensions within medical affairs, with a focus on driving precise, impactful, and purposeful medical engagements via data driven medical strategy and fit-for-purpose applications of AI, data science, and advanced analytics for a superior experience that delights the patient and positions JJIM with a sustained competitive advantage.

    The candidate must have a strong business intuition, deep knowledge of healthcare industry, be a self-starter, and should be able to adjust quickly to changing needs and priorities.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Serve as the DRI and overall business product owner all Pan-Janssen advanced analytics and AI driven solutions for medical engagements.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Medical affairs, Scientific affairs, Advanced Analytics, Data Science & Engineering, and IT, among others, to shape and evolve the medical omnichannel solution roadmap and enhance evidence generation & dissemination strategies.

    Lead the partnership with HCC, privacy, and legal to ensure that compliance and appropriate patient confidentiality is at the core of all solutions.

    Lead the team that identifies and quantifies the biggest patient pain points and drop-off points and develops / deploys AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance the performance and speed-to-market of our medical focused solutions.

    Lead the development of measurement framework and clear KPIs to track execution and impact of the data driven precision engagements by the MSLs.

    Lead the ongoing evaluation of data sets and methodologies to improve predictive capabilities across medical affairs.
    Provide strategic advice to senior leaders within medical affairs, scientific affairs, and brands.


    QualificationsExperience and Skills:


    A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience in healthcare, analytics, data science, marketing, management consulting or related field is required.

    A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, master's highly preferred.


    Competencies:


    Experience using healthcare claims datasets, electronic health records, and specialty pharmacy data in real world evidence and patient analytics – preferably in patient unmet need and care / treatment gap identification is required.

    Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills and demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department is required.

    Ability to influence all levels of the organization and to engage across a broad range of business partners and functions is required.

    Track record in implementation of AI-driven initiatives within pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the patient support area is required.
    Knowledge of machine learning techniques (e.g.

    supervised, unsupervised, deep learning) and their real-world advantages and drawbacks is required.

    Capable of interpreting the results of predictive models, evaluating model performance, and translating findings into actionable insights aligned with brand strategy is required.

    Track record of strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    Intellectual curiosity and passion to learn new things.
