- Lead, manage and motivate a team of automotive professionals, ensuring the dealership is adequately resourced
- Drive a high-performance culture, ensuring performance is awarded and underperformance is managed
- Oversee the Sales, Parts and Service Departments ensuring performance meets or exceeds budget
- Set financial and growth objectives for each department, and plan accordingly to ensure profit and product targets are met
- Accurately finalize dealership reporting, in line with group reporting frameworks
- Develop and roll out dealership marketing and publicity strategies to support objectives
- Support the dealerships to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensure dealership activities are conducted in line with manufacturer and regulatory requirements
- Hires, manages, and coaches Team members
- Is active in the Sales Department most of our GM's desk deals
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a large and diverse team
- Two years of progressive and relevant experience required. Five years highly preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee potential barriers.
- Strong organizational skills, able to multi- task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Proficient computer and internet skills.
- Prefer two years of Dealership Finance and Insurance sales experience.
- Must be well versed in Automotive industry. Must have strong knowledge of federal, state and local regulations that affect Dealership operations.
- Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be willing to participate in the Dealerships pre-employment background investigation, including criminal records check, motor vehicle records check and pre-employment drug screening.
